KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Caldwell University senior guard Emeka Ceaser (Las Vegas), senior guard Melvin Evans (Bronx, N.Y.), senior forward Roniel Oguekwe (Galway, Ireland), Graduate guard Kirk Parsons (Newark, N.J.) and junior swingman Jaiden Williams (New York)d have earned recognition on the 2025-26 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for achievements in the classroom by men's college basketball players, the organization announced today.
For Ceaser, it marks the second straight year that he has earned the honor. An English major with a 3.33 GPA, Ceaser also earned CACC Spring Academic Honor Roll, President's Level. The senior played in 13 games this season for the Cougars, scoring a career high seven points vs. Georgian Court (1/31), along with two steals.
For Evans, it is his second straight year being honored. A Sports Management major with a 3.37 GPA, he also earned the CACC Fall and Spring Academic Honor Roll, President's Level. The five-time CACC Weekly Honor Roll student, two time Met Writers Weekly Honorable Mention, and CACC Student Athlete of the Month for February was fifth in scoring for the CACC, fourth in assists, third in steals, and sixth in minutes earning him All-CACC First Team and CACC Player of the Week twice (12/22, 2/16). The senior scored a career-high 30 points vs. Jefferson (1/10) and against Bridgeport (2/11), Evans became just the 25th Cougar (14th in NCAA era) to score 1,000 points. He finishes his career 19th on the school's all-time scoring list (12th in NCAA era), fourth all-time in steals (first in NCAA era), and seventh in assists (third in NCAA era).
Oguekwe, a Business Administration major with a 3.38 GPA, has also earned both Fall and Spring CACC Academic Honor Roll, President's Level. He played 23 games for the Cougars during the 2025-26 season and scored a career high 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in just his third start against Southern Connecticut (12/15).
Parsons, an MBA Graduate with a 3.58 GPA, also earned both Fall and Spring CACC Academic Honor Roll, President's Level. He played in 20 games for the Cougars in 2025-26 with a season high 10 points against Georgian Court (1/31). Parsons ends his career third in school history in free throw pct. (83.7%) and 19th in steals (81).
Williams, a Business Administration major with a 3.32 GPA, earned both Fall and Spring CACC Academic Honor Roll, President's Level. The junior notched a season high in both points (16) and rebounds (eight) vs. Assumption (12/21) and earned a CACC Defensive Player of the Week (2/2). Williams has started 75 total games for the Cougars in his first three seasons.
The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Nationally, more than 2,400 players earned spots.
