CALDWELL UNIVERSITY BREAKS STIGMA (C.U.B.S.) COMMITTEE
CUBS Tie Dye Event 9-12-25Mission Statement
The Athletics Department established the Caldwell University Breaks Stigma Committee (C.U.B.S.). C.U.B.S. is comprised of student-athletes from various teams who have volunteered their time to bring awareness about mental health concerns and highlight the campus resources that are provided to student-athletes if they are struggling. In 2015, Caldwell University became the first New Jersey University to become a stigma-free campus. The University is committed to providing mental health awareness and helping students overcome the stigma attached to mental health. The Athletics Department recognizes the importance of student-athletes not only taking great care of their physical health, but also addressing their mental health. Caring for the "whole person" is vital to student athletes' success in their sport, academics and well-being. The program is supervised by Athletic Administrator Lindsay Mayer and Athletic Trainer Ryahn Anson.
