KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Adding to his 2023-24 accolades, Caldwell University sophomore guard Darnell Evans (Deer Park, N.Y.) has been named Second Team All-East Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Evans, a First Team All-CACC and second team D2CCA All-Region selection, ranked first in CACC and fifth in NCAA with 23.5 ppg, He also placed 1st in the CACC and 11th in NCAA with 2.2 steals per game. He was four-time CACC Player of the Week and earned three Honor Rolls... He notched a career-high 42 points at AIC 11/26 and matched his career best with 10 assists to go with 22 points, seven rebounds vs. Wilmington.

The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division II.
