NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Junior guard
Yarden Ashkenazi (Eliat, Israel) has been selected to the 2024-25 CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, the league has announced.
Ashkenazi, a Financial Economics major with a 3.90 GPA, is graduating after three years at Caldwell. He totalled 22 points in his college career, posting a career-high five points in a win over Mercy in his sophomore season. He was named to the CACC All-Academic team last year as well and is a three-time CACC Academic Honor Roll member.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at the end of the immediately preceding term, must be enrolled for at least two full-time semesters at his/her current institution, and must be a second-year student-athlete at his/her current institution. The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.
