NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Caldwell University men's soccer has been selected to finish tied for eighth in the Central Atlantic Athletic Conference (CACC) preseason coaches' poll, the league announced today. The Cougars finished 5-9-3 last year, including a 3-5-2 CACC mark, just outside of a postseason berth.

Among the Cougars' leading returners are sophomore forward Roy Torjman (Tel Aviv, Israel), who started 12 games and scored six points in his first year in red and white, senior forward Hugo Thell (Höganäs, Sweden), who had a goal and two assists while playing in 13 games, sophomore defender Bilel Mahamadou (Lyon, France), who made 13 starts, and junior defender Carlos Ramos (Asbury Park, N.J.), who emerged as a leader last year in 14 games (11 starts).

Caldwell opens the 2026 season, the 36th campaign in school history, vs. Saint Michael's College at the Bentley University Tournament in Waltham, Mass. on August 27. Their first home match is set for Sept. 2 vs. Molloy University, while the CACC season commences on Sept. 19 vs. Goldey-Beacom..
