NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) today named freshman QB Josh Smith (Parsippany, N.J.) its Rookie of the Week for the second straight week. Smith rushed for 144 yards, including a 75 yard touchdown scamper, and passed for 135 against Army West Point on Friday night.

For the season, Smith has completed 33 of 64 passes for three touchdowns and rushed for 209 net yards. He has also served as the team's punter, for a solid 40.5 average on 10 boots.

Smith and the Cougars (2-2) return home to face unbeaten Pennsylvania on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Bonnel Field.
