NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Fourteen Caldwell University sprint football student-athletes have been named to the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) All-Academic Team, the league announced today.  

To be eligible, a student-athlete must a) have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher; b) appeared in at least one contest for the nominated season; c) be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically; d) and must have completed at least two semesters at their current institution.

It was the third such selection in the careers of seniors Joseph Alberti (Nutley, N.J.) and Nasir Tippett (Dunellen, N.J.). and the second for junior Liam Burke (Hackettstown, N.J.), senior Kevin Campen (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.), senior Jorge Gonzalez (North Bergen, N.J.), senior Jeffrey Gunn (Irvington, N.J.), senior Kole Levy (Manahawkin, N.J.), junior Gabriel Nunez (Bogota, N.J.), senior Anthony Salzone (Wayne, N.J.) and junior John Vecchiarelli (Howell, N.J.).
