Cael Zebrowski (Verona, N.J.) threw for 310 yards, including a 43 yard touchdown pass to junior receiver
Josh Smith, as Caldwell University sprint football fell, 41-10, at Army West Point in the Collegiate Sprint Football opener for both teams on Friday night at Shea Stadium.
Trailing, 6-0, early in the second quarter, the Cougars reached the Army 9 yard line following a 48 yard catch-and-run from Zebrowski to Smith along the right sideline. Three plays later, junior kicker
Nic Mallon (Saddle Brook, N.J.) booted through a 25 yard field goal to cut the deficit in half.
But the Black Knights answered with a seven-play, 62 yard drive culminating in a JP Ross one yard touchdown run for a 13-3 lead, which they took in to halftime.
Army scored four touchdowns in the decisive third quarter to open up the game and secure the victory.
Zebrowski completed 23 of 52 passes on the night, including six for 150 yards and the TD to Smith. Senior receiver
Darius Harrison (Plainfield, N.J.) hauled in five for 28 yards and senior
Arjun Petgrave (Cranford, N.J.) collected four for 43 yards.

Anthony Cummings (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.) and freshman defensive lineman
Christian Brewton (Dumont, N.J.) had 10 tackles each, while junior linebacker
Dean Fiore (Woodbridge, N.J.) and sophomore defensive lineman
Edmond Anderson (Coram, N.Y.) had eight apiece, with 1 1/2 of Anderson's stops coming for a loss. Cummings also had three pass break ups on the evening.
The Cougars next visit new CSFL entry D'Youville on Saturday, Sept. 26, in their next action.
