Noah Putney (Glassboro, N.J.) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week after an outstanding week. Freshman
Christian Petino Jr. (Flemington, N.J.) was named to the weekly honor roll.
Putney batted .444 with two homeruns, nine RBI, five runs scored, one double and one triple. He went 5-for-10 with two homeruns and six RBI in a doubleheader against the College of Staten Island. Putney went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in a win over regionally ranked Southern Connecticut St. University and had a double and one RBI in a win over Alliance University.
Petino batted .500 with one homerun, six RBI, one double and three runs scored. He went 5-for-9 with a double, homerun and four RBI in a doubleheader against Staten Island. Petino went 2-for-3 with two RBI in a win over Southern Connecticut St.
The Cougars continue their Florida trip on Monday, March 13 as they take on St. Cloud State University at 5 pm.
