NEW HAVEN, Conn.- Caldwell University softball freshman Jessica Klein (Trevose, Pa.) and senior Mariah Culver (Owego, N.Y.) earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference weekly honors as the Cougars swept the conference weekly awards. Klein earned CACC Softball Player and Rookie of the Week honors, while Culver was named the CACC Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week.
 
Klein earns her second straight Rookie of the Week honors and first Player of the Week nod this season. She batted .520 in eight games with six coming against regionally ranked teams. Klein scored 10 runs, collected 13 hits with two RBI, two doubles and seven stolen bases. She went 5-for-7 in a sweep over Goldey-Beacom College. Klein went 3-for-6 against Georgian Court University with a double and two stolen bases.
 
Culver started four games for the Cougars, posting a 4-0 record with a 0.52 ERA. She struck out 23 batters in 27 innings pitched. Culver tossed a complete game against St. Thomas Aquinas College, allowing 0 earned run on nine hits with three strikeouts. She struck out a season-high 10 batters, allowing one run in a complete game win over Georgian Court. She capped the week with nine strikeouts in a complete game win over Pace University.
