CALDWELL, N.J.-The Caldwell University men's basketball team remained under consideration in the second NCAA Regional Rankings that was announced by the NCAA. The teams under consideration are not ranked as has been done in the past due to the shortened seasons and reduced teams participating this year.
 
The Cougars are one of eight teams under consideration for a bid to the NCAA Division II Championship. Caldwell is among five teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference including Bloomfield College, Dominican College, Felician University and Nyack College that are under consideration.
 
The remaining schools included two from the East Coast Conference in St. Thomas Aquinas College and Daemen College with The College of Rose from the Northeast-10 Conference also under consideration for a post season berth. 

The CACC Championship will be held the week of March 1 with the NCAA participating teams being announced Sunday, March 7. The men's basketball selection show will be held at 10:30 p.m. and streamed on ncaa.com.
