NEW HAVEN, Conn.- Caldwell University men's basketball senior Eric Johnson-Alford (Clifton, N.J.) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Week after helping lead the Cougars to a 2-0 week.  
 
Johnson-Alford recorded 2.5 steals per game and 6.5 rebounds per game in two wins last week. He posted five defensive rebounds for the week and averaged 20.5 points per game. Johnson-Alford turned in a double-double effort with a career-high 29 points along with 10 rebounds in a win over Post University on Saturday.
 
The Cougars travel to Bloomfield College for a CACC contest on Saturday, December 14 at 3 pm.
