CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University men's basketball alum
Austin Woods '17 (Milford, Conn.) has signed a professional basketball contract with CB Cazorla in Spain.
"I'm excited to continue my career and travel overseas for an amazing experience and I will continue to be the person Caldwell developed me into," said Woods. "Coach Corino developed me into a role model the younger guys could look up too for motivation and confidence as my main goal for the last season was to make everyone come together and play as a unit and I will bring that experience to my new team."
Cazarola posted a 13-8 record in Group D in the Liga Española de Baloncesto Amateur (EBA). The team advanced to the Stage Two where they went 2-1 in group play.
