CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's tennis team came up short to Roberts Wesleyan College 7-2 in a non-conference match.  
 
The Cougars fall to 3-5 overall, while the Redbirds improve to 12-10.
 
Senior Maximilian Ziegler (Erfurt, Germany) won both his matches as he posted a 7-5, 6-2 win at #1 singles. Ziegler and freshman Lukas Lemke (Hamelin, Germany) picked up an 8-5 win at #1 doubles for the Cougars.
 
Lemke battled at #2 singles but fell 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Freshman Ferdinand Schnitzer (Mossingen, Germany) also lost his match at #3 singles 6-1, 6-2.
 
The Cougars are back in action on Monday, April 10 as they travel to NYIT for a non-conference match at 2 pm.
