CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's tennis team posted three wins in singles play but the Cougars came up short to Chestnut Hill College 6-3Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.
The Cougars fall to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in the CACC, while the Griffins improve to 10-5 and 4-0 in conference play.
Chestnut Hill won all three doubles matches but Caldwell posted three wins in singles play. Junior
Maximilian Ziegler (Erfurt, Germany) won at #1 singles 7-6 (9-7), 6-4, while sophomore
Lucas Andrada (Cordoba, Argentina) posted a win at #4 singles 6-4, 6-2. Senior
Andrej Bozovic (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) capped the Cougar wins at #5 singles, taking the his match 8-5.
The Cougars travel to USciences on Saturday, April 16 for a conference match at noon.
