CALDWELL, N.J.- Junior Maximilian Ziegler (Erfurt, Germany) posted wins at #1 singles and #1 doubles to help lead the Caldwell University men's tennis team to a 6-3 win over Bloomfield College.

The Cougars improve to 2-1 on the season, while the Bears fall to 0-2.

Ziegler took the win at #1 singles 6-1, 6-2, while sophomore Alberto Gasco (Madrid, Spain) won at #2 singles 4-6, 6-1, 11-9. Sophomore Lucas Andrada (Cordoba, Argentina) posted a win at #4 singles 6-4, 6-3, while sophomore Pedro Vizcaino (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) posted a win at #5 singled 6-2, 6-1.

In doubles play, Ziegler and Bottari teamed up to win at #1 flight 8-3. Andrada and Gasco took the win at #2 singles. 8-0

The Cougars open Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on Tuesday, March 29 as they host Post University at 3 pm.
