CALDWELL, N.J. – The Caldwell University men's tennis team closed out its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule with an 8-1 victory over Bloomfield College Tuesday afternoon at the Caldwell University Tennis Courts. The Cougars improve to 4-6 overall and 3-3 in the conference, while the Bears fall to 3-8, 0-6 CACC.

Caldwell swept the three doubles matches, with sophomores Hugo Castalan (Rouen, France) and Maximilian Ziegler (Erfurt, Germany) winning at first doubles. Freshmen Pedro Vizcaino (Santo Domingo, D.R./Miel Christian) and Yuvraj Bains (Howrah, India/Don Bosco-Liluam) were victorious at second doubles, and senior Christopher Long (Plainfield, NJ/Trinity Christian) and junior Andrej Bozovic (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina/St. Joseph) won their match at third doubles. In singles play, Castalan, Ziegler, Long, Bains and Vizcaino won in straight sets.

The victory also marked the final home match for Long, who has been a mainstay in the Cougars' lineup over the past four years.
