CALDWELL, N.J. – The Caldwell University men's tennis team dropped a non-conference dual to Kutztown University, 6-3 Saturday afternoon at the Caldwell University Tennis Courts. The Cougars are now 1-6 on the season, while the Bears improve to 9-3.

Caldwell's top doubles team of sophomores Maximilian Ziegler (Erfurt, Germany/Edith-Stein School) and Hugo Castalan (Rouen, France) picked up the Cougars' only doubles point, winning, 8-3. Ziegler was victorious at No. 2 singles in three sets, while freshman Pedro Vizcaino (Santo Domingo, D.R./Miel Christian) won his match at No. 6 singles in straight sets.

Caldwell hosts Dowling College in another non-league dual on Sunday, Apr. 12, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Caldwell University Tennis Courts.
