PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Caldwell University men's tennis team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual to Philadelphia University, 7-2 Saturday afternoon at the Legacy Tennis Youth Center. The Cougars start the season 0-1, while the Rams improve to 6-6 overall and 1-0 in the CACC.

Caldwell's top doubles tandem of sophomores Hugo Castalan (Rouen, France) and Maximilian Ziegler (Erfurt, Germany) won their match at No. 1 doubles for the Cougars' lone doubles point. Although junior Andrej Bozovic (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina/St. Joseph) won at No. 3 singles for Caldwell's only singles victory, several matches were close. The singles matches at first, second, fourth and fifth singles all went to three sets, with the Rams coming out on top in each match to win the dual.

Next up for Caldwell is another CACC dual against Concordia on Tuesday, Mar. 24 at 3:30 p.m. at the Caldwell University Tennis Courts.
