CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College men's tennis team dropped a non-conference dual at Adelphi University, 8-1 Monday afternoon. The Cougars are now 1-3 overall, while the Panthers improve to 9-6 on the season.
Caldwell's lone point came at No. 5 singles, as senior
George Mikula (Rockaway Twp., NJ/Morris Knolls) led 4-0 when his opponent, Adrish Tewarie, retired. Adelphi swept the doubles matches and won the other five singles matches in straight sets.
Next up for Cougars is a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual at 10th-ranked Concordia College on Tuesday, Apr. 2, begging at 3:30 p.m. in Bronxville, N.Y.
