CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College men's tennis team dropped a dual to Dowling College by the score of 6-3 Monday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. Junior Mike Ober (Lavallette, NJ/Point Beach) won his match at fifth singles for the Cougars, who are now 1-5 on the season.
Ober out-scored Dowling's Kevin Lotito, 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5 singles to earn Caldwell's only point in a contested match. The Cougars picked up points in walkovers at sixth singles and third doubles, as the Lions recorded victories in four singles matches and two doubles matches.
The Cougars play at Philadelphia University on Tuesday, Apr. 15, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
