CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College men's tennis team fell to Adelphi University, 9-0, in the Cougars' first home match of the season Friday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The result keeps the Cougars winless on the season at 0-4, while the Panthers improve to 7-6.
Adelphi won all but one match in straight sets, with junior Michael Ober (Lavallette, NJ/Point Beach) taking Pierre Streat to a third set before losing, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 at fifth singles.
The Cougars return to the courts on Saturday, Apr. 12, with a dual at Rutgers-Newark.
