PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Caldwell College men's tennis team lost a dual with Pace University, 8-1 Wednesday afternoon. The defeat dropped the Cougars to 0-2 on the season, while the Setters improved to 3-4.
Freshman Jan Marco Jiras (Lima, Peru/Santa Maria Marianistas) picked up the Cougars' lone point with a three-set victory over Alex Dy-Buncio after losing the first set 6-1.
Next up for Caldwell is a dual with N.J.I.T. on Saturday, Apr. 9, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Caldwell Tennis Courts.
