NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Caldwell University women's soccer, under the direction of new Head Coach Kate Pellegrino, has been selected to finish fourth in the preseason poll of Central Atlantic Athletic Conference (CACC) coaches, the league announced today.

Caldwell finished 2025 at 13-3-4 overall, the best record in school history, including an 8-1-2 mark in CACC play that earned the Cougars the second seed in the 2025 CACC Tournament and second straight Finals appearance.

Among the team's top returners are junior forward Bella Noble (Staten Island, N.Y.), senior midfielder Yuli Amador (Union, N.J.), senior defender Claudia Penafiel (Bloomfield, N.J.) and junior midfielder Suri Silva (Newark, N.J.).

Caldwell opens is 29th season of women's soccer at American International College on August 28. The first home match is set for Sept. 3 vs. Pace, and the CACC schedule begins on Sept. 16 at Wilmington in a rematch of the CACC Championship Game.
