GREENWOOD, Ind. – Junior Long Stick Midfielder James McCarthy (Middletown, N.J.) and Senior Defensive Midfielder Joseph Alberti (Nutley, N.J.) and Senior Defender Sammy Ahmad (Clifton, N.J.) and Senior Midfielder Anthony Salzone (Wayne, N.J.) and Senior Midfielder Kole Levy (Manahawkin, N.J) have been named to the 2025-26 Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Men's Lacrosse, the organization announced.
It is the third such honor for Alberti, who won the award in both 2023-24 and 2024-25. It is the second such honor for Ahmad and McCarthy who both won the award in 2024-25. It is the first appearance on the All-District Team for Salzone and Levy.
The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes At-Large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The five are now eligible to move to the National CSC Academic All-America At-Large ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® At-Large honorees will be announced July 8th.
