Maddie Matkosky (Horseheads, N.Y.), junior outfielder
Kenzie Nazionale (Ontario, Calif.), junior pitcher
Katie O'Connor (Charlottesville, Va.) and sophomore third baseman
Lindsay Oller (South Plainfield, N.J.) have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Softball Team.
It is the second CSC Academic All-District selection for Nazionale and O'Connor, who were honored in 2025 as well.
The CSC recognizes student-athletes who thrive both on the field and in the classroom by including them in their Academic All-District team. It is an incredible honor to have five Cougars included in this team.Â
Fisher was named CACC Pitcher of the Year this season and was included in the All-CACC First Team and NFCA and D2CCA Second Team All-East Region squads. She posted an 11-5 record with a league-best 2.60 ERA and had a total of 75 strikeouts in her 26 appearances. Fisher is majoring in Biology/Psychology with a 3.89 GPA.Â
Matkosky was included in the All-CACC Second Team. She batted .324 with two home runs and 18 RBI, placing second on the team with 29 runs in her 46 games played. Matkosky is a Nursing major with a 3.84 GPA.Â
Nazionale was selected to the All-CACC First Team and CACC All-Tournament Team, as well as the D2CCA Second Team All-East Region squad. She batted a team-best. 359 with 42 runs scored and 31 stolen bases. As a Criminal Justice major, she sustained a 3.68 GPA.Â
O'Connor, recently selected the CACC Student-Athlete of the Month for April, was included on the CACC All-Tournament Team and All-CACC Second Team. She recorded a 15-8 mark with  3.54 ERA and 96 strikeouts in her 28 appearances this season and is maintaining a 3.94 GPA as a Health Science major. Â
Oller batted .306 with a home run and 17 RBI this season. Her major is Psychology, and she achieved a 3.87 GPA.Â

Caldwell finished 29-21, earning its first regular season CACC championship since 2018 with a 15-3 league mark. The Cougars were selected to the NCAA East I Regional Championships.
