LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Caldwell University sophomore pitcher
Haleigh Fisher (Smyrna, N.Y.) and freshman right fielder
Kendall Mazur (Millville, N.J.) have been selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-East Region Second Team, the organization announced today.
Fisher, the CACC Pitcher of the Year and All-CACC First Team member, leads CACC in ERA (2.48) and ranks fourth in strikeouts (71) and sixth in batting average against (.279). The righthander is the team leader in WHIP and shutouts and has 10 wins in her last 12 decisions. She spun a four-hit shutout vs Holy Family to clinch regular season CACC title and went the distance in win over Post in the CACC Championships 1st round game.
Mazur, a Second Team All-CACC selection, ranks 11th in the CACC in on base percentage (.446) and sixth in the circuit in stolen bases (16). She is batting .350, second best on the team, with 10 doubles and 23 RBI.

The Cougars (29-19) were CACC Regular Season Champions and earned the No. 4 seed in the NCAA East 1 Regional, where they take on No. 5 Assumption today at 4:30 in the first round of the double-elimination bracket.
