CALDWELL, N.J. -- The Open Pyramid team, Synchronized Pyramid squad and Compulsory Pyramid all scored 9.0 or above and four other events topped the 8.0 mark as Caldwell acrobatics & tumbling competed in its third meet of the season, falling to Morgan State, 239.725-211.56 in an NCATA meet at Newman Center on Wednesday evening.

The Open Pyramid unit of senior Kaytence Vining (Latham, N.Y.), junior Jahnessa Morales (Hamburg, N.J.), junior Mariana Aiello (Concord, Calif.), junior Alexa Bayne (Kingwood Twp., N.J.), sophomore Avery Dunn (Chalfont, Pa.),  junior Mariajose Bucheli (Belleville, N.J.), sophomore Melania Castro (Teaneck, N.J.) and sophomore Neriyah Sims (Bayonne, N.J.) posted a 9.35, Caldwell's second highest event score following the 13-athlete Compulsory Pyramid squad's 4.0.

Tumbling was paced by senior Jill Riggio (East Windsor, N.J.) and soph Jackie Vereen (Suffolk, Va.), who scored 8.225 and 8.20 in the Open Pass and Aerial Pass, respectively.

Caldwell next visit Georgian Court on Tuesday in Lakewood, N.J.
