CALDWELL, N.J. – Caldwell University head acrobatics & tumbling coach Amirah Boyd has resigned, it was announced today by Mark A. Corino, assistant vice president and director of athletics. Boyd served as the program's head coach for the past three seasons, compiling a 12-7 mark. She will be pursuing a doctorate of physical therapy degree.
"I am grateful to my student-athletes, the Caldwell University staff and everyone who supported the program in my three years," said Boyd. "I am excited about my new career direction and will always have great memories of my time at Caldwell."
"I want to thank Amirah for all her efforts in building the program and for her work as a valued member of the Athletic Department," added Corino. "We wish her all the best in her new career path, and we are confident she will enjoy tremendous success."
A search for the next head coach will begin presently.
