ATLANTA - The Caldwell University women's basketball team earned 2024-25 WBCA Academic Honor Roll "Special Mention" after compiling a Team GPA of 3.633 during the 2024-25 academic year, the organization announced today.
The Cougars, under the tutelage of fourth-year Head Coach
Christie Conforti,
placed 15 student-athletes on the CACC Honor Roll for the spring semester,
four on the league's All-Academic team, and
four on the CSC Academic All-District squad.
Sophomore
Brooke Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) was
named CACC Student-Athlete of the Month for February 2025.
On the court, the Cougars finished 17-13, their most wins since 2017-18, advancing to the CACC Tournament semifinals for the first time since that year.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
