Six Men's Lacrosse Student-Athletes Earn CACC All-Academic Honors
Alberti, Drake, Levy, McCarthy, Starr, Tarnowski Among League's Elite Scholars
NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Six Caldwell Men's Lacrosse student-athletes have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team, the league announced today.
The honored Cougars are:
Joseph Alberti (Nutley, NJ) Junior, 3.62 GPA, Education
Angelo Drake (Manville, NJ) Senior, 3.78 GPA, Exercise Science
Kole Levy (Manahawkin, NJ) Junior, 3.67 GPA, Criminal Justice
James McCarthy (Middletown, NJ) Sophomore, 3.90 GPA, Marketing
Owen Tarnowski (Roxbury, NJ) Sophomore, 3.50 GPA, Sport Management
Gavin Starr (Montgomery, NJ) Junior, 3.61 GPA, Secondary Education/ Mathematics
Alberti and Drake also compete for the Caldwell sprint football team and earned CSFL All-Academic honors last fall.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution, prior to Spring 2025; c) student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution; and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
