LAKEWOOD, N.J. -- Freshman
Angel Cruz-Fletcher (Bloomfield, N.J.) took gold in the long jump and bronze in the triple jump, while the 4x400 relay closed out the meet with a third place finish to highlight the Caldwell women's performance at the CACC Women's Track & Field Championships at Georgian Court University on Friday and Saturday. Five Cougars earned individual scoring marks as the Cougars placed seventh of the 10 teams competing. Multiple personal records (PR) and school records (SR) were part of the successful two-day meet.
Cruz-Fletcher leaped a PR 5.46m in the long jump and PR/SR 11.22m in the triple jump to earn the Cougars' two individual medals. Then the 4x400 team of senior

Isabella Pollock (Fair Lawn, N.J.) and senior
Eliana McNamee (Springfield, N.J.) took third at 4:06.59 (PR).
Others securing points for the Cougars included McNamee in the 800m (4th, 2:22.69, PR), Grau in the 800m (6th, 2:24.98, PR), junior
Chennaya Tschopp (Belleville, N.J.) in the 100m (6th, 12.98, and 12.72 in prelims, a PR) and Pollock in the 400m (7th, 59.16 PR and SR).
