NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Caldwell freshman Angel Cruz-Fletcher  (Bloomfield, N.J.) has been voted the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Field Rookie of the Year, the league announced today. 

Cruz-Fletcher took gold in the long jump event at the CACC Women's Track & Field Championships at Georgian Court University earlier this month. Cruz-Fletcher leaped a Personal Record 5.46m in the long jump and PR/School Record 11.22m in the triple jump to earn the Cougars' two individual medals. This led to her being selected to the First Team All Conference in Long Jump.
