Lizbeth Castillo (West New York, N.J.) and sophomore
Morgan Dolaghan (Nutley, N.J.) all posted marks bettering the thresholds. The Cougars finished sixth of 28 teams competing at the meet.
Castillo's 20:52.72 in the 5K qualified her in the event and was good for 17th place.
Dolaghan heaved the javelin 27.64m
to become the Cougars' second qualifier in the event (freshman
Juliana Ballesteros (Union, N.J.) earned a berth in the Championships last week).
