WEST LIBERTY, W. Va. -- Eight members of the Caldwell University Acrobatics & Tumbling team earned National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Honor Roll, the association has announced.
Two Cougars, senior base/tumbler
Mickennah Lanza (Middletown, N.J.) and junior base/tumbler
Jill Riggio (East Windsor, N.J.), have won the award all three seasons of competition.Â
The award marks the second straight year that sophomore base/tumbler
Mariana Aiello (Concord, Calif.) and sophomore base
Alexa Bayne (Kingwood Twp., N.J.) have collected the honor.
First-year recipients include junior utility
Piper Fitzmaurice (Middletown, N.J.), freshman base/tumbler
Carly Gleason (Ocean City, N.J.), freshman utility
Emely Rodrigues (Newark, N.J.) and freshman base/tumbler
Kaelynne Sparacio (Farmingville, N.Y.).
The Cougars (5-1) won the most meets in school history, including the CACC Cup vs. Georgian Court, in Head Coach
Amirah Boyd's second season.
