UNION, N.J. -- Junior
Chennaya Tschopp (Belleville, N.J.) and senior
Eliana McNamee (Springfield, N.J.) won the 100 and 400 meter races with season-best times at the Kean Cougars Sprinter Showcase on Wednesday at Kean University.
Tschopp ran a blistering 12.78 to win the 100. She also took second in the 200 at 27.28, just off the CACC mark and neck and neck with junior
Isabella Pollock (Fair Lawn, N.J.), who won the race in 27.26.
McNamee took out the 400 field with a strong 1:00.75 as Caldwell claimed all three medals in the event. Senior
KJ Gordon (Latham, N.Y.) was second at 1:02.25 and soph
Dayanara Grau (Union City, N.J.) was third at 1:04.38.
Freshman
Hannah Juleus (Roselle Park, N.J.) placed third in the 100 at 13.54 for the team's other medal.
