Mickennah Lanza (Middletown, N.J.) scored a 9.8 and two other events scored 9.0 or better as Caldwell Acrobatics & Tumbling defeated Georgian Court, 228.425-216.150 in the inaugural CACC Cup championship at GCU Wellness Center on Thursday evening.
The 228.425 score marks the highest in the Caldwell A&T's program history.
The CACC Cup will be awarded annually to the winner of a selected meet between the two league schools that compete in the sport.
Also high-performing in the season-ending meet was the Compulsory Pyramid team of freshman

Zimayah Mosley (Newark, N.J.), Morales, Aiello, junior
Piper Fitzmaurice (Middletown, N.J.), senior
Eliah Cardone (Bristow, Va.), freshman

Jill Riggio (East Windsor, N.J.), Vining, Dunn and Lanza, who pulled a 9.45.
Leading the Tumbling were Fitzmaurice with 8.975 in the Six Element, Vereen with 8.20 in the Aerial and Riggio matching the 8.20 in the Open. That gave the Cougars a 153.375-144.05 lead heading in to the Team Event.
The Team Event then finished of the victory, with Caldwell scoring a program best 75.05 for its final tally.

Named to the CACC Cup MVP Team from Caldwell were Vining, Aiello, Sims and Cardone.
