MAHWAH, N.J. -- Freshman sprinter
Xaiden Simmons (Hoboken, N.J.) finished second in the 200 meters and sixth at 100 meters, heading the Caldwell men's track and field lineup at the Ramapo College Twilight Last Chance meet the RCNJ Athletic Center.
Simmons (23.70) was one of three Cougars in the top seven at 200 meters, as freshman
Bryson Brutton (Hamilton, N.J.) took fourth at 24.01 and freshman
Jalen Hinnant (Edison, N.J.) finished seventh (24.96).
Simmons and Hinnant were also part of the 4x100 relay that took second, along with lead freshman
Marquis Gilyard (East Orange, N.J.) and anchor freshman Emanual Laluz (Lyndhurst, N.J.), sprinting to a 44.63.
Simmons (sixth, 11.60) and Mensah (eighth, 11.68) excelled in the 100. Laluz was also eighth in the long jump (5.49m) and senior
Chad Manning (Belleville, N.J.) was ninth at 1500 meters (4:14.96).
