GALLOWAY, N.J. -- Senior
Geraldy Volcy (Irvington, N.J.) won the 400m dash at 49.88 and took ninth at 200m (22.88) to pace Caldwell men's track and field's weekend at the Stockton Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Volcy blitzed the 400 field, finishing more than a second faster than the next competitor. His 400 and 200 times are both CACC qualifiers.
Other top 10 finishes included:
- sophomore Efo Ogbonmwan (Hillside, N.J.), 9th, 100m hurdles, 16.82*
- junior Logan Kudla (Bloomfield, N.J.), 8th, 1500m, 4:23.72
- Soph Christopher Francois (Bloomfield, N.J.), 10th, shot put, 12.68m.*

Additionally, the Cougars' "A" 4x100 relay team of junior
Xaiden Simmons (Hoboken, N.J.), sophomore Kevin Philitin (No. Plainfield, N.J.), soph
James Oluwehuje (Hillside, N.J.) and freshman Zeeshan Ahed (Edison, N.J.) teamed to place fourth at 45 seconds flat.
Other achieving CACC Championships qualifying status were sophomore
Sal Panicucci (Totowa, N.J.) with a 33.59 heave in the hammer throw and senior
Andrew Scopel (Green Brook, N.J.) in the javelin (45.23m).
