Cristian Silva (Bloomfield, N.J.) went 1-2-3-4 in the javelin, leading a strong throwing contingent as Caldwell men's track & field competed at the Vassar April Twilight meet on Saturday at Prentiss Sports Complex.
Scopel's heave of 42.55 meters was followed by Miano's 38.34, Vautrins's 37.52 and Silva's 37.27 in the clean sweep. Soph
Christopher Francois (Bloomfield, N.J.) was eighth with a throw of 33.66m.

Sal Panicucci (Totowa, N.J.) was fourth in the shot put at 12.26m, while Francois took fifth at 12.20m and senior
Kevin Campen (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.) placed eighth at 10.54m.
Francois's discus toss of 35.33 was fourth best at the meet.
On the track side, the top finishers were freshman
Victor Carthell (Bloomfield, N.J.) at fifth in the 400 intermediate hurdles (1:01.32) and soph
Steven Ramirez (Prospect Park, N.J.) at eighth (1:03.41) in the event. Soph
Connor Mielewski (Ocean Gate, N.J.) and junior
Lawton Haynes (Montclair, N.J.) were sixth (24.42) and seventh (24.52) at 200 meters, respectively.
