Alfredo Oidor (Garfield, N.J.) and junior hurdler
Jakub Sobura-Durma (Keilce, Poland) have been named to the 2024-25 Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for men's cross country and track & field, the organization announced.
Howell, a financial economics major with a 3.84 GPA, finished second in the javelin at the CACC Championships with a personal record toss of 45.15m. He also earned CACC All-Academic Team honors this spring.
Jamieson, an English and Business Administration major with at 3.50 GPA, placed 30th at the CACC Cross Country Championships (30:07.3). He was a CACC All-Academic honoree in both cross country and track & field this year.
Oidor, a psychology major with a 3.63, earned his second CSC Academic All-District honor, having also been selected in 2022-23. He placed seventh at the CACC Championships (27:52.08), to earn All-CACC Honors. Oidor was a CACC All-Academic honoree in both cross country and track & field this year.
Sobura-Durma, a political science major with a 4.0 GPA, placed third in the 400 meter hurdles at the CACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a personal best of 54.78. He qualified for the Championships in two other events as well, the 100m and 200m, and compete as part of the Cougars' sixth-place 4x400 relay.
The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes cross country and track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
