WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- Three golds and a CACC qualifier highlighted a fine day of work for Caldwell men's track and field at the West Chester Last Chance on Friday, as junior Joey Datta (Edison, N.J.), senior Kyle Kuren (Woodland Park, N.J.) and junior Andrew Scopel (Green Brook, N.J.) took home first place finishes and junior Pharrell Mensah (Metuchen, N.J.) qualified for CACC's in the 400.

Datta won the 5000 meters in 15:35.04, Kuren took the hammer with a heave of 47.43m, and Scopel's javelin was a meet-best 56.26 toss.

Mensah hit a new PR for his qualifying mark of 51.86 in the 400, good for a ninth place finish in the event.

Other top finishers for the Cougars on the day included senior Micah Chudkowski (Sayreville, N.J.) in the javelin (3rd, 46.95m), freshman Jalen Hinnant (Edison, N.J.) in the long jump (4th, 6.04m), senior Michael Lehman (Wayne, N.J.) in the shot put (4th, 12.49m), senior Chad Manning (Belleville, N.J.) in the 1500m (8th, 4:13.18), senior Alex Geddes (Randolph, N.J.) in the 5000 (6th, 18:41.74), soph Kevin Campen (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.) in the shot put (7th, 11.18m), discus (7th, 33.99m) and hammer (7th, 30.28m), freshman Logan Howell (Vernon, N.J.) in the javelin (6th, 44.40m), hammer (9th, 26.13m) and shot put (11th, 29.55), and freshman Liam Burke (Hackettstown, N.J.) in the hammer (10th, 21.76m).

The 4x100 relay squad of freshman Marquis Gilyard, Hinnant, soph Samael Joseph (Roselle, N.J.) and freshman Xaiden Simmons took silver at 44.35.
