KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- For the second straight meet, Caldwell Acrobatics & Tumbling set a program record, scoring 209.235, including a school-record 64.51 in the Team Event, in a dual meet at Kutztown on Tuesday.

The Cougars topped 8.2 or better in seven separate heats, with high marks of 8.9 in the compulsory pyramid, with nearly every team member competing, and 8.85 on the compulsory toss.

Other top performances were turned in by the Inversion Pyramid featuring soph Isabella Garcia (South River, N.J.), senior Janise Jackson-McEachin (East Orange, N.J.), senior Eliah Cardone (Bristow, Va.), freshman Jahnessa Morales (Hamburg, N.J.), senior Nicole Lopez (Kearny, N.J.), freshman Mariana Aiello (Concord, Calif.) and soph Kaytence Vining (Latham, N.Y.), with an 8.8, the Acro seven element team of Morales, Vining, Cardone and Aiello at 8.8 and the open toss of freshman Samantha Miele (Holmdel, N.J.), freshman Zimayah Mosley (Newark, N.J.), Aiello, Jackson-McEachern, Lopez and freshman Na'Asia Gumbs (Newark, N.J.) with an 8.7.

Kutztown (6-2) won the meet with a score of 255.315.

The Cougars (3-2) conclude their 2024 season at East Stroudsburg on Sunday at 2 p.m.
