Women's Track Sending Eight to Penn Relays Friday

4x100, 4x400 Relay Teams to compete at historic event

PHILADELPHIA -- Caldwell women's track will send eight athletes to compete at the historic Penn Relays, hosted annually since April 1895, at Franklin Field on Friday. The Cougars will field two relay squads, with approximate start times on Friday:

4x100 (12:25 p.m.) junior Alexis Byfield (Hawthorne, N.J), senior Deneisha Williams (D'abadie, Trinidad and Tobago), junior Sabina Neupane (Sindhuli, Nepal), freshman Chennaya Tschopp (Belleville, N.J.)
4x400 (7:10 p.m.) junior Gabriela Lopez (Belleville, N.J), freshman Isabella Pollock (Fair Lawn, N.J.), soph Shamica Carey (Nassau, Bahamas), soph KJ Gordon (Latham, N.Y.)

The full Cougars squad will be on hand on Saturday at the Kings College (Pa.) Monarch Invitational.
