Due to rain in the Lakewood area and field conditions on the softball field of Georgian Court University, the remainder of the 2022 CACC Softball Championship has been canceled. Top seed Georgian Court has been declared the champions and receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Championship. 

As per NCAA rules, the Caldwell-Wilmington contest that was suspended on Friday has been ruled an official game with the Wildcats winning 6-3 in five innings and all stats from the game will count in both teams official season statistics. 

The Cougars, ranked third in the latest NCAA Division II East Region poll, will await word about an at-large bid to the 2022 NCAA Division II Softball Championship. The NCAA Division II Softball selection show will be streamed on ncaa.com on Monday, May 9 at 10 am.
