NEW HAVEN, Conn.- Caldwell University men's track and field freshman Joey Datta (Edison, N.J.) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Track Athlete and Track Rookie of the Week after taking first place in the 5000-meter run at this past weekend's Monarch Open. 
 
Datta picked up his second rookie of the week honor and track athlete of the week recognition after a standout performance at the Monarch Open hosted by King's College. He took first place in the event with a time of 15:58.29.

The Cougars wrap up their season as they compete in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship May 7-8.
