CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University softball team moved up to #2 in this week's NCAA Division II East Region poll of the season. The Cougars currently hold a 17-3 record in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play so far this season.
Adelphi University holds the top spot for a second straight week in the NCAA Division II Regional poll with the Cougars moving up to #2 in the region. Georgian Court University comes in at #3 followed by Wilmington University and Saint Anselm College rounding out the top-five.
Pace University holds the sixth spot in the region with Franklin Pierce University at #7 and the University of Bridgeport coming in at eighth place. St. Thomas Aquinas College and Bentley University take ninth and tenth place respectively to round out the top-10.
The top-8 teams advance to the NCAA Division II Championship next month.
The Cougars close out conference play this weekend as they host Wilmington on Saturday, April 30 and Felician University on Sunday, May 1 in doubleheader both starting at noon.
