CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics Mark A. Corino announced the hiring of Jenna Adams as the first head coach for the acrobatics and tumbling program effective immediately.  
 
"I feel extremely grateful and honored to become a part of the Caldwell community," said Adams. "Acrobatics and tumbling has brought me so many amazing opportunities. I am excited to be able to build a program that will facilitate those same experiences for other female athletes. I am eager to work with the other coaches and administrators and introduce Caldwell to the sport of Acrobatics and Tumbling. I cannot wait to get started."
 
Adams comes to Caldwell from the Encore Performing Arts Center where she works as a tumbling instructor for the past two years. She previously served as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater Quinnipiac University for one year. Adams is currently a fourth grade teacher at Saint Joseph Regional School. 
 
"I am extremely excited to have Jenna join our institution to build our new acrobatics and tumbling program," said Corino. "I am confident that she will be able to build a competitive program and grow this NCAA emerging sport at our institution. Jenna has a strong competitive background on a high level to this new program and I believe that she will work hard to live up to the university's mission. I look forward to working with Jenna and am excited for her to build our acrobatics and tumbling program."
 
Adams was a four-year starter on the acrobatics and tumbling team at Quinnipiac from 2014-2018. In her senior year, she was the ECAC Player of the Year, ECAC All-Academic Team, Dean's List honoree and team captain.
 
Adams graduated from Quinnipiac with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2018 and went on to earn her Master of Arts and Teaching in elementary education in 2019.
