LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Caldwell College softball team defeated Bloomfield College, 10-2 in five innings in the first game of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament, held at Georgian Court University Friday morning. The top-seeded Cougars, who are the defending CACC champions, are now 41-5, while the Lady Deacons fall to 20-19.

Bloomfield took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning on a single by Shannon Brennan that plated Hailey Marini.
