BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - The Caldwell College men's basketball team ended its 2008-09 season with a loss to Bloomfield College, 95-71 in the first round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament Tuesday night in the Bloomfield Gymnasium. The result eliminates the Cougars from the tournament and gives them a 12-16 record on the season. The Deacons, seeded first in the North, improve to 22-6 and advance to the semifinals, which will be held at Philadelphia University on Friday.
Bloomfield quickly took control of the game by building a 26-6 lead in the first seven minutes of the first half.
